Lowered... slightly.

Mine just lives in a garage now. Doesn't really come out for much. I don't want to destroy it but it looks to go that low to not keep that low. Most of the mileage to shows is motorways which is smooth so it doesn't play up with the lowness. I would get a daily driver but I'm 18 (1 year ncb) and live in a high crime rated area (even though it was high car crime years ago when a car was stolen nearly every night and now its alot nicer place and cars hardly ever get damaged or stolen) so I have problems finding insurance quotes fully comp for less than Â£2k and TPFT for Â£1k. So I've gone back to my trusty BMX.

To be honest I'd rather have my Derby and only be able to drive it 4 times a year than have a Corsa and drive it every day. Theres a certain apeal to my Derby, I just love it to much to the point where I don't care if I'm paying Â£1k a year to drive it like 4 times a year!

The part that catches on the car is the exhaust and thats knackered anyway, been blowing since I got it. So thats the only part thats getting damaged but its due for renewal anyway. Gonna get a nice stainless steel thing tucked up into the chassis. Also the arches catch if you don't slow down for bumps so Imight get those rolled ever so slightly when I get her resprayed (because of rust).

nope, cant say i have that problem - but i might know why this is happening... these wheels are more commenly found on oldskool vauxhalls and have to have the back face of the wheel machined slightly to fit on ya dub - that would be one thing to check other than the usual wheel balancing and the like

Thats sweet. May be gettin that MK1 LX advertised on Porka I'm gunna keep it in the garage and use the coupe S everyday.

If I go over speed bumps I get stuck on them slowly where as if I do fast I get stuck on them quicker. Only small speed bumps which go up and down smoothly and are log are feasable. If there those little pokey triangle plastic ones you can kiss my chassis good bye.
