i think the important thing that hasn't been pointed out here, and maybe something that needs to be made more clear to someone unfamiliar with the engines:
you cannot simply take your injector out and replace it with "the one" from a GT, as they are radically different systems --- the most basic difference between the two being that an SPi (single-point) has a single injector sitting roughly where an oldskool carburettor would be, and carrying out a similar task, whereas an MPi (multi-point) has FOUR seperate injectors (or, as many injectors as there are cylinders - you see how the name fits?) in a completely different place further down the manifold, a lot closer to the actual cylinder intakes. As everyone else has said - you'd have to completely replace a whole lot of different stuff to make it work.

Could always bore your block out, retro fit bigger cylinders and try bodging a more beefy singlepoint injector from e.g. a 1.4 / 1.6 golf or astra to fit.. straight wholesale engine swap might be the best use of time and money if you're just a beginner however (or, sell up and buy an actual GT - if you're doing this for insurance sakes you'll be screwed just the same if you declare it..... even more so if you DONT and then have a bump)
