I saw a brand new 05 plate Phaeton on the M6 yesterday around about junction 14/15. I went past it in the traffic, and when the traffic cleared I moved over and he flew past me. I was doing 95ish at the time so I dont think he was too bothered about running it in.

Looked proper bling!!!

lol....... swifts and altos....... probably the only things to rival old polos and golfs in hanging around like a bad smell... but eventually they get uneconomical to even send for a standard £40 MOT ...

and people dont bother to save them from scrap.
seen a couple of obviously obsessively-kept ones running around on ludicrous plates. guy at work picked up an early 80s 5-door alto probably for the price of a couple pints of beer..... think he's still driving it quite a long time on. stupid looking little very dirty silver thing, somehow with 2 doors on each side, but i swear he looks bigger than it does (he's a big chap)

Saw my first one today...... Got up and looked out the window and there it was on a drive opposite my house
Anyway sort of a VW - Seat is close
He had a really nice Alfa 156 before and a Rover before that (which I think he bought off the leasing company as a replacement for his wife's s**t box 309 - I'm guessing the switch to a smaller hatchback this time may have something to do with her preferences for the next car to replace her Rover in 2 years time
Haven't seen a single one on the road yet

I've seen lots of 05 plates, loads before March 1st too! Doesn't help that I work for a Nissan dealer, really!

If it's a TDI, it'll be a PD150 unit. Other than that, it would be a 1.8T 180bhp model.
I think the wheels are awful. They changed them to those monstrosities from (see below)
If you had a choice on wheels, what would you have?
