I'll soon be doing a few runs from Birmingham to Anglessey again, once you get past telford and hit the A5, its almost 100 miles of fun through the welsh scenery!

you can proper scare yourself if you dont know the road!

Unfortunately can't remember any times from last year. Quite often got stuck behind something at some point.

sometimes I divert around to the Horse-shoe pass - you gotta make the most of not being on the motorway! :twisted:

the horse shoe pass! i've had some fun with my dad there! i can never seem to find it! always end up on the ruthin road :?

i've looked for and never found the horse shoe......

only ever made the mistake twice of trying to get thru wales quickly on the A5 (and also the once, bangor to aberystwyth - awesome)..... one of those times the car was full up of luggage and had the rack on, too!
fun trips, however. good roads like that can make even a jacked-up 1 litre feel like an elise :)

and very nice when you're just cruising as well

If you're driving east to west on the A5, Theres a turning for it in langollen, think its at the traffic lights...
There's one of those brown signs too iirc.
