Managed to wash the car, pop up the road to Halfords (unrelated trip, bought a new sponge!) and get back a short while ago...

So there I was, bonnet up, rubber caps, nuts and washers off, and its started bloody raining!

By the way, are the original arms supposed to be so damn hard to remove? I know they've been on there for five years  but crikey! They're stuck on there good and tight. I'll have another go later on when the rain stops :)

Well, they're on (the front ones are anyway) :)

There's a knack to getting those pesky arms off - apparently if you lift the arm up (like when you wash the car) its easier to get off - worked here anyway

The passenger side wiper is perfect. The driver's one is OK - rubs a little on the scuttle panel which might annoy me over time - mikegti I think its the same thing as you had. I've been out driving in the rain earlier and the rub can be heard if I've got no music on, so I will look at filing the arm down a little where it rubs to remedy the situation. Its only a couple of mm!

I've got no judder of any kind, time will tell if that appears, but I've not used them at any speed above 40mph so far so will have to wait until next weekend to see if they play up then.

Next up, rear wiper. If the rain stops :?

Oh, and I lost one of the rubber caps off the wipers :!: so theres one on order for me at the dealer - 90p
