i take it this thread is about removing those cheesy logos and not the actual VW logo?
on a mk4, the first thing you want to do is rip off the sad 'polo' logo and in my case, the embarrasing '1.0l' logo

YUP i was on about the polo and engine size badges.
i put jap style graphics down each side om my car and they were removed after a month, via the same technique casuse they looked cheap and nasty.

for some reason when i got my polo it didn't have any engine/model/'polo'badges on the back, and there was not a trace of any ever being there i.e. no marks or 'discolourments' and it was old ladie that had it before... hmmmm

dob-polo6n , it might not have been crashed , when you buy a VW brand new , you can ask to have it debadged , my ex girlfriends car came debadged

@Twizted: Welcome! Nice to see another new member join the forum.
On topic:
I am in the habit of debadging my parent's cars, my brother's cars, my friends' cars... *if they let me, of course*
So besides a rear ended Polo it could be an annoying cousin/son/etc.

I think the people around me have accepted my deviant behavior... They probably gave up after the Lego Technics phase... Always something to build or deconstruct!
