The maximum power output did not change on mine (at least noticably) but the car pulls better (smoother) from lower revs, the engine note is also a bit sportier, or maybe I just like to think so.. :) Consumption is pretty much the same, driving style makes more difference IMO..

yeah opened air induction tends to make more noise, but for seal induction tends to be more quiter and more hp gain.Im gonna get an BMC induction kit for mine and see how it goes

i think it will be quiter with the cold air feed installed.

Probably. Post a picture of your engine bay.
It may not be worth it though as the 1.2/1.4 already get as much air as it needs so extra flow in to the air box may be no benefit at all. May sound better though?

If I get one of these intakes do i have to get air filters that are cupra fitment then? I'm not sure what this part is can someone post a picture? I'd like to put one in before I get my 1.4TDi remapped :D

nope u'd need to get the correct filter to fit your engine, the bit that everyone is talking about is just an intake into the airbox.
here is a picture of my old intake:

(the intake is between the battery and the engine cover)
the intake i have now is the pd160 and is wider to allow more air to pass through it!
