alright guys !!

i was told coz i gt a 1L tht if i put a full induction kit it aint good for the car as the engine is so small -- and the car fights to keep the engine mixtue resulting in parts gettin damaged -- which means additional cost

how true is this -- has any one experienced this???
thanx :?:

For as far as I know this is complete s**t, haven't encountered any problems with a induction kit, neither did any of my mates or other members from the Polo Club Holland.

If you have an injection fuel system, the on-board computer will automatically produce the right mixture for your engine, just like it does with your original airfilter on it. So their won't be any difference between a original or induction filter, unless you have a carb, then you will manually have to tune the mixture, but their won't be any problems with an injection fuel system.

Damn, my topic was like on the bottom, gettin' dusty and all....

But last weekend me and my Polo where invited to be on one of the bigger car/tuning/styling event in Holland, namely Full Speed in Zwolle (a city in Holland  )

Here some pics of my Polo (after 2,5 hours of cleaning and waxing :!: )

And a mate of mine won second price in Overall Show&Shine (2nd out of over 250 cars  :D )

Image

And here's his price standing in his 1,8T 20v enginebay (this beauty releases 255 horsies  , that means wheelspin allover baby! )

Image

Also got myself a new stearing wheel, Momo Race:

Image

And switched colours in my dials:

Image

"cockpit" @ night (red light, white dials and green needles):

Image

My new 3F camshaft (this baby has 219 degrees, while mine has 188, more horsies for me  ):

Image

And here's a lil' sneakpreview for what I'm gonna do to my enginebay for next "season" (this is the first forum to see this picture  ):

Image

And just spoke to my "painter" of whatever you call it in English. He's gonna do my new SR mirrors, mk5 roofstrips, mk5 sidestrips, hendles and extend my hood with a metal bad boy look soon :D

I'll keep you all posted!

Oh, and I did a Db-test @ Full Speed too, cranked my system up to 128,4 Db.

Considering that IF i would have entered the "official" competition, I wouldhave won in my category, since the winner had 121,3 Db

 But he, there's always next year!

I get almost all of my stuff from Germany, easy cause it's "next-door" (just a 30 minute drive for me  ) Maybe Ebay.de will be a good solution for you? Or you could always try to order at D&W or DTS (german mailorder styling-catalogs, both have got a really big amount of goods for almost everycar (mostly germans though, not Pugs or any of that French crap  ) but they are quit cheap (compared to others) and of good service (german quality) )
