Too bad mate... I got done doing an avg of 95.9 and was trying to hit my top speed on a clear stretch of motorway. I musta hit 105 and was lucky my avg was JUUUST under 96.
I was told I would have been summoned to court if I was caught doing 96 and above. Lukily my car was a bog standard 1.4 aswell as that also goes against their judgement.
Plus it was my first offence.

But the worst thing was my premium shot up by about £150 and that will carry on for another 3-5yrs worth of premiums :(

Getting caught speeding... you're looking at a deficit of not only a £60+ fine... but also 3-5yrs of inflated premiums :x (any one know if after 3yrs when the pts are taken off... can u tell the insurers that u dont have any pts anymore? cos they ask u to declare pts within the past 5yrs  bit of a scam from them really)

I've also seen the news of who some people are being banned for doing 100+ so I feel extra thankful that I only got the 3pts.
Hehe one thing I learnt is that if you want to go 100+ do it in a powerful car rather than pushing a little car to get there... cos its easier to get caught if you're slowly getting to 100 rather than a car accelerating from 60 to 100 in a few secs :D
