I'm 19. (20 in 2 weeks on friday)

been driving 2 years.

Just renewed with Admiral under my mums insurance for £1100 with lowering of 50mm mod. Is £1350 for me as the policy holder.

Gonna start my insurance next year. May have had to get a slower/cheaper car by then tho, due to me starting an apprenticeship. Will do all i can tho to keep my lickle baby GTi.

Mat

BTW. Was 18 when i got my GTi.

I couldn't get insured.

I'm 19 with one years no claims, coming up for two. I tried getting a quote but would be touched with a barge pole by any one. As all of the policies changed earlier this year to get insured on a gti myself I would have to be over 25, so I was told.

I now only own a 1.4 8v.

Oh well.

No problem mate.

They were by far the cheapest when I started looking at GTi's. Not sure how they are with mods yet though.

I'm with Elephant, I'm 25 5 years protected no claims comes in at £360, it would have been £300 without protecting my no claims. Directline were close at £385 but this included a discount for having my house insurance with them.
