eh, i think i'd skip the lovable bit :D

hmmm then again
i mean him no real harm but he really, really gets on my tits in a "lunge for the radio dial" manner when the jingle starts playing (a lot like the archers in that case, after catching some comedy show on radio 4)

funny as hell, in a "so wrong it's right" way, when he got shot  ... if only his and richard whitely's roles had been reversed the world would be a better place  well maybe

Loved what they did with the minor but Westwood got right on my t**s. He's no american gangsta and never will be. They've tried to be American stylé but it just doesn't work.

Brits should stick to what we can do.....and thats be British.

Mat

P.S. Josh, you should have been the host. Your much more gangsta than Mr Westwood.

"Yo, this be MC Josh Murray here to Pimp yo ride, BO"

they're both c*nts.

westwood staging being shot doesnt make him cool. it makes him a sad pathetic middle class wannabie.

gloryfying the gangsta life is retarded and he should be culled.

Real gangsta's dont actually like the lifestyle they live they just live it cause its the only way to survive, like drug wars in Columbia (i know ive spelt that wrong) WestWood is just a wanna be and to be fair he's a ugly b*astad too !
I am in the crew of hating Chris Moyles aswell, the fat w*nker ! haterz no need to reply i no how "funny" some people think he is !

Whoa whoa! you guys need to calm down! Westwood is funny because he thinks he's a gangster! Laugh at not with innit.
Also, i think moyles is funny, even though he's a fat arrogant bast•rd. He only puts on a show - Ive met him in real life and he doesnt act as annoying as he sometimes does on the radio.

Anyways, lexus lights or no lexus lights im lookin forward to the next PMRUK!

agreed, i find moyles show useful to wake me up in the morning (well, ok, exclusively in the mornings where my first memory begins in the outside lane of the m42 about 20 miles from home) even if i can't always stand it at other times - seems to be getting ever more excessively gratuitous and less funny, or maybe im just getting old.

but at least his nature is to be a chubby annoying dick from leeds, as he was probably employed to be, and makes no attempt to alter that!

Morris Minor? *pukes*

I was watching PMR us and they pimped up an olllld car... and it looked nice, but the old american cars have that character... a minor just looks wrong imo.

And the cars wont be in as bad a condition as they are in the us shows cos they dont have mot over there i think.

i can see your view but taste is a question of personal opinion at the end of the day.
when you look a little deeper this is the very brief history. the original minors had a different front end, more like a beetle till the us market dictated higher headlights.
also the minor was designed by Sir alec Issigonis who also designed the mini and a lot of the technology on the mini came from the minor or was tested in the minor on a prototype leval. e.g.
front wheel drive!
all the occupents being within the wheel base giving a better ride for all.
rust treatment pre painting,
tortion bar suspension
and also monocoque construction to name a few all these were pretty much firsts on the minor.

The minor was aslo the first car to sell over a million units worldwide.

the minor is one of the real unsung heroes of the automotive industry.

the other things that make it appealing are you can build one to do sub 13second 1/4 mile times for about 3 grand incl buying the car. there is also a full range of engines that will go in with minimal fettling from the rover k seies, the fiat twin cam the rover sd1 engine (3.5 v8) all with off the shelf kits

its real easy to make a total sleeper.

mine for evample has a moderatly tuned 1.1 engine that will keep with stock modern 1.4`s even in some twistys and the real giggle is there is a kit which ive got waiting to put on which hides range rover brakes under there :D

like i said a really understated car

*gets off soap box and bows* :D

Nic Mann`s Minor

Nic Mann`s Morris Minor was built for hillclimbing and was powered by a single turbo charged, nitrous oxide injected Rover V8 engine. It was fast in a straight line and around the bends. For me this car was the ultimate Minor.

^^ Its the best I can do with the flash-based MTV website, but as people rightly point out you can stream the whole episode on the MTV PMR mini site
