i'd like to see a comparison from all three directions (front, side, top) of the 9n3 vs a mk1 golf though.. i'm starting to have trouble telling between mk1 golfs and polos when theres just one on it's own, simply because the golf is looking so diddy next to modern cars!
and its a hyper competitive environment these days unfortunately, unless you're someone like BMW or Merc who can rely on their customers not giving a frig about the cost, you have to cut corners where you can. Image alone is only one small weapon against those who (like me) would just as readily go get a well-looked after 2nd hand car, or (like my mum) would go for something like a Kia Picanto at £5000 brand new or whatever it's cost is.
