Yeah didn't the old one have the Caractere kit? :D

I do like the new one, not convinced yet though as I'd perfer a tuned up 2.0TFSI to the V6, if it wasn't 4WD I wouldn't even consider it. It looks ok but doesn't look as nice as the GTI.

david burton wrote:why is 250 (approx) bhp out af a 3.2 N/A v6 that bad? the 350Z only gets about 270bhp out of a 3.5.... i can't think of any other N/A v6's to compare it to.
Renaultsport Clio 3.0 V6 puts out 255bhp

BMW E46 M3 (3.2 straight 6) puts out 343 bhp

You could always twin turbo the new R32 like ABT did with the orginal

over 400 horses would be lovely to play with

Agh I just read what I wrote and it sounds wrong. I mean personally I wouldn't consider it as I already have the gti, not trying to dis the car. I still think it's fantastic and after seeing that 900+bhp one from the us on that vid you can do a lot with the motor.

It's probably something to do with me trying to get good 1/4 mile times at santapod and trying to get my car as light as possible. That v6 would really weigh me down  (although I think going on a diet would probably help more!)
