Which are the best ones to get?

I've used McGard 28028 SU (listed for the polo mk5)

These are M12 x 1.5 mm (17mm hex) i.e. correct length for any four stud VW alloys, the VW black caps don't fit them though, they fall off again - perhaps can be made to stay on with some modification

Well guys I've finally got all 4 of the damn nuts off...
even tho it took longer than i would've liked (1 week lol)
