If it lights up, then it would seem like the connector on the back of the switch has not fallen off, it could still be loose though - pop it out and check182_blue wrote:anybody got any ideas then ??

Perhaps the motor inside the mirror is dead? is it just one or both?

On the 6N2 the heating is only activated when the rear demister is on.

I leave mine in passenger mirror position, as when I reverse park, I use it to see my back wheel. Takes all the guess work out of parking.
(cheating - how do I always manage to park 1.5 inches from the kerb???)
