Yeah autochokes came a bit earlier on 1.3, around A reg. Then the 1.05 got autochokes around mid C reg

hey sorry bout a l8 reply but i got a polo mk2 square back aswell so the number has increased by 1!
just aint had much time 2 check forum out over the hols

yeah you can say that again! i had to get a wing off one in the scrappy! we were hours digging out the bolts through all the wax! not a spot of rust!
The earlier ones are semi galved.

n hows that exhaust 4 goin over speed bumps? (does it knock)
i got a standard exhaust on mine n i went a lil bit 2fast over speed bumps in college n my perished weathered rubbers snapped so i was draggin my exhaust but its all lovely fixed n new
i know of 2 mk2 polo round by me 1 wiv a ladder on top n another boy i know i will tell him bout da forum n 4 him 2 get on here when i c him

lol polo joe has my old one
that was one REALLY quick engine before the rebuild but had to be done due to head gasket.
i'm on to my 3rd now
a Mint red 1043cc that did 2500 miles in the first 9 years and its only on 55k now and i'm the 3rd owner
just bought a new fuel tank today so going to fit it tomoz and now have a 1.8 carb engine out of a MkI golf to go in, just workingout engine mounts and drive shafts but almost there

You can add my squareback to the list, its a bit shabby at the moment but its work in progress. A trip to the body shop is planned for this year
