*deep breath*
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
before I go hunting thru my picture collection again, best pic of the old motor is probably the one in the sig, for now
may go have a look see if there's anything better I have (that's not sig-compatible), and maybe anything which makes the current ride look even slightly impressive - it'd have to be an old one, before I smashed up the front bumper and repaired it all with gaffer tape

its a comfortable enough ride and must be a nice easy drive (from a mates dad having one and having caught many a pub lift in it) but doesnt seem to be built for any kind of involving driving experience
i know what you mean, same kind of thing with the astra. however if i was to come back it would have to be a GT or at least a decently horsed diesel... i'm too used now to being stuck behind a slowly accelerating truck, spotting a fairly short gap, and just being able to drop it in 3rd, dump the throttle and get around on wings of thrust... rather than accepting my 1-litre fate of being late yet again
(tho i swear it's still slower through the bends despite it's 195 section tyres)

Fav pic would be this one ... was only taken last Sunday at a car show and is the first pic with the bumpers and side skirts fitted!
Could do with a good wash though!

Side skirts and Lexus lights are a problem... nice otherwise!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion though, does seem Euro look is the way to go but then I'd never get into my driveway if the Polo was any lower, hence why I put sideskirts on to make it look deeper.
But as I said everyone is entitled to their opinion, I don't expect everyone to like my car but as long as I do then I don't mind!

I usually shudder at the sight of lexus lights.. but that's because they're almost invariably attached to beat up chav wagons assembled by people without a clue. polo_chick's car is one of the best examples of where lexus lights can actually work nicely that I've seen, I think they actually quite suit the car..
