Seriously though, all the top teams have been depressing lately. BRA 1-0 RUS yesterday comes to mind.

heh, i dont watch much footy but i was stuck in a hotel room with nothing to do but work... turned out quite entertaining. thought one of the Urallgayans was going to lamp the ref at one point
peter crouch, hmm, does gigantism run in his family, i've never seen such a big bloke dance around so deftly before, though it still did resemble an elephant's charge
PS did anyone here what the first match at wembley was going to be ... oh dear oh dear... we're playing a country so small and sparsely populated it can barely scrape together enough players for a full eleven without causing severe permanent damage to the economy, their subs and second team are probably all girls and pensioners
