cherry bombs are very 80's - best suited to vauxhall chuv-its and other crap cars best forgotten

Could you suggest an exhaust that will fit and sound good on a Polo MK1 or MK2 then?

M6TT F i agree cherry bombs = Nova's
wildchild they are easy to fit take old box off and place new one on. may need to buy the extension to go from the middle like the original exhaust or u can just cut old back box off and weld the new one on otherwise you'll be blowing and that will make sound terrible.
tupac2makaveli71 i dont know why he said no he just said no and he told me about other exhausts and now i aint putting a cherry bomb on my polo.

lol, wild child i think you should wait untill i get my exhaust, i will send you a video and sound clip and then decide on if you like it or not, and yes my car is 1989, and no i havnt seen a cherrybomb on a nova....like i said, american muscle, if you have seen dukes of hazzard the noise their car makes will be what mine produces (obviously not that deep as i have a 1.05) lol

i would put a sports centre box on and get some sort of induction kit (also a de-cat on mk3's)
sounds top on polos (kinda raspy) and doesnt make it sound like something it isnt.
if you want a real noise id say get a 4-branch manifold!! or of course twin webers lol

im just about to order it and i was hoping someone could confirm the inlet size and if this would fit...the reason i am not checking on my own exhaust is because teh fitting is a bit messed up and if i take it off i cant get it back on without leaks without using a liquid gasket thing i have.....dont really want to do that but mite have to PLEASE HELP!
