it was walshc (craig Walsh)
the guy with the 20V turbo in a black mk4

heres apparently what happened quoted directly from Edition 38 wont know for sure till walshc is back up and running so to speak
I was in Worthersee on Monday with Simon Sweetland when he got a phone call, (possibly from Vinesh but I'm not sure).

He said a guy from the forum with a 20VT Polo had had a bad accident on the way through Germany.

Apparently it was raining very heavily, he was not going fast, but hit standing water and aquaplaned across the carrigeway and his car hit a coach head on.

We were told his passenger had been flown home, but the driver was in hospital in Germany.

Any more than that I don't know, all our thoughts are with them both.
club polo are looking to buy some flowers for his perants and send them to them via "ACKY" or "DJsimmy" there sorting something out and accepting donations soon they will be some floweres arranged like a polo

Oh man, that was a sweet Polo he had, but his life is a lot more important, the car is just metal.

Here's hoping he gets better

As I just said on club polo,

I really can't believe it :(

Shocking news, and we've lost one of the country's best Polos, but that's not important now, the main thing is Craig makes a full recovery.

Hope you're back soon dude.

Met him at No Dice last month... Sound lad.

I want to send some flowers from UK-P to his bedside in Germany... I've PM'd DJSimmy requesting details.

Everyone please donate to the Club Polo fund so that they can get something really special for him, but I just wanted to send something from us here to let him know we're all thinking about him.

Thats really sad news. As some of you lot, i'd only met him once and that was at the Sheffield meet last month.

He's a proper sound lad and my sympathies and thoughts are with him and his family.

Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

That's a real good idea Josh, I was thinking the same yesterday even though I've never met him, be good to show some support and show his family a lot of people are wishing him a full and speedy recovery.

I've just popped over to clubpolo and donated some money, wish him well.

And i agree Josh that would be a good idea, would be nice for his family to know Craigs got a lot of support behind him right now
