This is the only pic I have at the minute Alun, note how nice my mats look  the secret is, I have rubber mats over them while I'm driving otherwise where you have your foot on the accelerator, it flattens it.

I'll get another one tomorrow though :D

No, they wouldn't give me them I think they must be too expensive to give away.

My mum and dad got me them for Christmas, so they've been in there for 5 months and still look good as new.

@ Alun - VAG Parts don't do mats unfortunately, I enquired about them once before.

@ Nick - Yeah you can still get them from VW, but I don't know the part number

The reason they're dear from VAG Parts is because they have to order them from Germany I think they said.

I should imagine VW will have a selection in stock.

The easiest way to fit redal rubbers is to leave them to soak in a mug of very hot water for a couple of minutes.

This makes the rubber much more flexible and easier to manipulate around the pedal itself. Just be careful as the metal part of the cover will also be hot when you remove it from the water.

I glued my accelerator pedal on earlier after it fell off yesterday

It shouldn't come off any more now.
