The bit I wanted to know about was the straight line as the pillar kind of joins the door, did you put it along there?

EDIT: It's ok I looked at the pics in this thread

What i did was, i made the sticker actually go under the black window seels, so that it didnt have to line up properly. Then i stuck something ontop of the black sticker, running along the lines of the windows and the b pillar crease.

I then cut so that it looked like it was part of the window. So that u cudnt see any paint either side.

Does that make sense?

Yeah 8)

I figured a retrim will cost me over £1k, so i may as well go for these, then sell my interior....

I was going to have a crack at them, but a set of coilovers for the Corrado has got to come first. Glad they went to a good home :D

i went to bid on them at 380 but then decided that without seeing a better picture it was a bit of a risk, i asked him 2 send me a bigger pic and he said no!

Like I said in my other post, a mate that lives close by went and had a look for me, I decided that even if the door cards were cracked / marked, the seats themselves are worth it.

Considering a good retrim will cost at least 1k…£565 aint to bad, and every factory leather interior I have seen from VW seems like very good quality.

Guess I will find out tomorrow when I pick it up….

Next up it’s trying to work out how to get the heated seats working, still that can wait until winter….

If you haven't got it already, the wiring will have to be installed and the switches at least, not sure if anything else needs to be done.

Thanks, do you know if anyone has done this before? I saw a thread on this a while ago, but that was just ppl talking about what would be required.

As I've said previously, a top-quality retrim can be done for £800 inc door cards. If you can get to York. Can give you a website that has lots of different people's cars done at this place.
