At the end of the day, it will still drive the same no matter the colour. I have gotten all the money ready this morning, waiting for the guy to get back from holiday today and hopefully see it and buy it tonight (if it's not sold and fine)

I'd say not much of a worry - it should be loaded up with much extra equipment!
Hopefully staff did not rag it though?

Ahh well I'd be doing regular oil changes if I get it. Off to see it tonight, hopefully the guy who is seeing it before doesn't buy it

I have £3k sitting upstairs, although I don't have a dog to guard it
The way to look at an ex-demo is that in theory if it was owned by VW then it should have had regular services/maintenance, any new parts that were needed etc.
Good luck with it, and we'll hopefully be welcoming you to the elite section very soon

Being ex-demo i'd make sure the service's have been kept up as we all know what happen's to demo car's.....
Not trying to put a downer on the car but just a word of warning.
Silver is very nice on a GTi as Tom's car show's

i had a silver polo and it looked really nice when cleaned properly!!
go for it mate, with limited numbers of gtis in this country then they will be becoming rarer and rarer!!
