1989 Nissan Sunny. Got it 6 months after i'd passed for £300 from my God mother. Only had 67k on the clock and was in very good condition.

Had some proper missions in that car including one very memorable one to Alton Towers. Will never forget that trip. :D

She got some stick bless her, especially from my mates, but she never let me down once. (well apart from the 2 times i left the lights on whilst i went to work and flattened the battery  )

7-8 months later i sold her for £350 and i purchased my GTi and now owned her for 2 and a half years. 8)

Taking it on a stage, what is the worst car you've ever had.
For me its got to be an F reg 316 BMW.....looked the nuts in black but leaked oil everywhere, drank petrol and I hated every minute ( of the whole month that I put up with her before getting shot) rear wheel drive I hate, Front wheel drive is so much more to my liking.
Mind you my first car (Cav LX) developed a bit of a drinking problem before I sold her....me and my mates worked out she was doing 12mpg at one point...he he....add to that, that her petrol guage was slightly faulty...ie even filled up to the brim it only registered 3/4 full....and I ran out of petrol in her more times than I can remember....Oh the joy of cars...he he

After I passed my test, I drove:

1) my mum's '81 mk1 renault 5 - cornered like a boat !
2) she then upated it to an '88 mk2 renault 5 - slightly better

during which time I saved up to buy my own car, which was:

1) '89 Nova 1.3 SR - was a lot of fun in the day - lowered & loud
Image
2) Then a '95 Rover 214SEi - boring as it sounds, still don't know why I bought this
(Library image)
Image
3) Then a '02 VW Bora 2.0 8v - loved this, but wrong engine choice and rear legroom was awful for the size car
Image
4) Then a '02 VW Passat TDI 130 sport Estate (still owned, wife now drives this).
Image
5) And now a '01 VW Polo Gti (which replaced wife's '95 Polo Mk4 Glx)

my first car was a nova 1.2 flair which i still miss to be honest, you may laugh but it never let me down, even though it got its fair share of abuse and went on some adventures in its time, was gutted when i got rid of it and the only car i havent got pics of! :(

then it was onto a corsa 1.4 16v sport, which had some character once i had finished it, the exhaust was hugely loud and had been known to set off car alarms! got annoying in the end though and i was never done repairing things on it such as.....

a head gasket
a coil pack
couple of wheel bearings
oh yeah i also got bumped into on 3 seperate occasions, what can i say? the car was a jinx for me!

Image

then in may i bought my current baby which im over the moon with!

On the point of the worst car that was the AX GT cost £500 to buy £900 to insure.

Then blew the head gasket after a month.

IT sounded good though k&n induction kit and full stainless exhaust, made of cardboard though.

Never got it fixed and it rotted in my dads driveway for a year

okay,....i'm guessing i'm a little older than most as my first car was a FIAT Supermirafiori. It was a rear wheel drive, twin webber'd beauty. It'd still have one if they hadn't all disintegrated by now. Remember many a time being stopped by the cops - the most memorable was where they said i'd gone round a roundabout on two wheels - still don't think thats possible?....maybe 3 yes.....
