What's the sound quality like in comparison to your standard ICE?

Very impressive, ive had a few differnt aftermarket headunits, and i cannot fault the sound from this, esp when playing dvd audio discs.
Im selling my 1 month old one if your interested

Damn it looks so good. Alpine are usually the best for sound quality yet have the worst looking headunits that don't go in any car

True alpines tend to be best for SQ, im a real audio nut, and when it comes to SQ, there isnt much differnce, when i had the JVC AVX-1 in my mk4 polo, the differnce over the standard system was outstanding.
Ive never used the AVX-2 unamped however, but has allways sounded fantastic

If your after an SQ headunit namakachi are the dons but damn they are ugly things!!
That Jvc unit is very good!!
I just got top spec pioneer AVH-P7500dvd and pioneer avic 800dvd sat nav unit brand spanking for £300
The unit is fecking awesome for SQ and the 7" screen is very clear!!

Namakachi, im personally going for a becker unit with satnav, as it fits in with the dash and sounds good

Mmm DVD-Audio. I think I'll wait a while so I can decided whether its worth buying a new CD changer and one of the JVC's
