This mod when throught my head about a year ago, but I decided it would be alot of hard work. Looks really good.

If you want to do it, do it. Doesnt matter if anybody copies it. If that was the case nobody would be doing the whole Black B pillar and red stripe around the grille thing.

Cant see anybody copying Toms badge tho, it's not the sort of thing someone would copy (OK i could be wrong  )

The MK5 golf boot handle looks really good but why spend so much getting it done the GTI boot handle looks cool anyway (door handle style), besides it needs kinda bodging on.

Not bodging on, grafting in! A decent bodyshop will be able to do it, in fact I know a guy who will do one for me if I can source all the parts needed, ie. a GTi tailgate and the necessary Golf mk5 boot handle bits :)

I wouldn't be fussed. Definately take it as a compliment if it was something I did myself

dont forget that your on a VW enthusiast forum. These 'common mods' are only common on the VW scene. everyday you wont get these things making them unique, in proportion

however i would be annoyed if i thought up a genius idea only for it to be on every car by the show season
