firstly: dandiesel- cant u get a whole elecrtic window fitting kit for pennies n e way so £250 for a motor? it best be one heck of a motor with voice activation and talks to u when u get in and out the car.
secondly: i had problems with my polo b 4 and i took it to my local vw garage in farnham and they had the car for the hole day, i had about 3 different things wrong with my car. being the abs light came on, the clutch was and still is making a weird noise and the glove box handle was fixed. i got a call from them later that day shortly b 4 they closed and they said they checked it on the computer and cause they abs light went of by the time i got to them they said they couldnt find the problem, the clutch, he said theyre not sure wat the problem is but theres no point in replacing parts unless they know wat it is for sure and the glove box they ripped the handle of as it was stuck shut cause the handle broke so i couldnt open it so i needed a new handle which i didnt get then n e way.
and do u know how much they charged me? bearing in mind they had it for a day they checked it over and they made the glove box usable again......... u know how much?
nothing.......... not a sausage........ not a bean......... zilch.......... when i asked them how much it would cost i was preparing myself for the worst....... then they said nothing so i was happy........ very happy.
WTF......robbing barstewards!!!
