But £60 tax is for 6 months (same as mine)

I can prove its £50 per year, here's my tax disc

According to the Vehicle Licensing website, 6 months is £0.00 which leads me to believe it's not available and 1 year is £50.00

wat the... how can that be! i've got the same engine and i pay £110 for the year?! i should be paying the same right... i'd come all the way to birmingham if it means 50quid a year tax!!

When did u last buy tax? Maybe its just the new rates?

Its prob down to when you car was built, as mine was registered march 2001, it came under the new taxation laws for CO2 output if its anything before march of that year, i think its still subject to the old ruling on car tax

Shouldn't matter where you live as Tax prices are set at one rate

I used the link you posted to see if how much tax is direct from the dvla website, i still pay £110 a year.. im thinkin of gettin in touch with them to find out exactly whats going on? it just doesn't make sense to me but yea ur right i didn't think it had anything to do with where you get it from.. just living in london i'm led to think like that, if u own a car u pay extra for almost everything! i pay £90 a year just to park in front of my house, its like another bloody tax!?
