yeah same, which makes me wonder why wait for it to be released in the UK and pay £500+ for one when you can get a jap spec one for 300odd.

There not aimed at mass market, there meant to be £450, but theres different models, 20gb, 40gb, etc
There also a blu ray player, which is meant to be a new type of player for the future worth £200 alone.
Bit steep, personally I want a games machine not a internet/dvd player, but well thats the way all the consoles are going

not all the consoles are going that way, the Wii isnt..they are suprisngly fun but im in no way saying go and buy one, they are afterall aimed at kids...i'd stick with the 360....apparently although the PS3's spec on paper seems far superior the actual processing power is not much better than the 360. Naturally though the next gen games for the PS3 will be stunning but the xbox has just as many rights if not more for games... Also who wants to pay like 500 quid for a console and have a ps1 controller attached...hardly feels like a leap forward does it?

Personally the Playstation contollers are the easiest to use.
I feel the Xbox 360's are just too big. Don't get me wrong, it is a good console , but i just can't stand the size of the controllers.
Oh yeh, the other reason why I haven't bought a 360 is because Gran Turismo will never be on it!.
I've played most of the racing games on the 360 but i still think Gran Turismo is the best!

yeah it is..4 even had a polo gti in it
,nothing will ever touch gran turismo but you also have halo on the xbox.

Yeh halo is a quality game as well.

yep...my view is that its poo,just like previous models...give me an xbox 360 anyday...360 even outshines nintendo wii too!
