Nice wheels, I remember the day before I traded mine I decided to take it for a final blast, I managed to hit the limiter in 5th. The speedo was just past 140mph the rev counter looked like it was a little past 7k.

Still miss the car sometimes.

Just wondering about when the car was @ 120mph, did it have much more to give (could it have made it upto or beyond 130)?
And other than your coilovers and alloys is the car still in standard form?
its on coilovers with the 15s and a bmc...

have driven many quick cars so know what im on about (had scoobys, evos, an r32, 16vs etc) and id personally say they wont do over 125ish to be honest not a lot of puff left in them or box tbh....

car looks awesome imo babe, we need to get some shiny pics up..

Cool wheels. Naughty naughty going that speed  Most I've done is 120. It seems run out of puff above that, but gets up to it quite quickly

Book speed is 127, so it will defo reach that if not go further, but you'll also have to take into account speedo error. so on the clock, i reckon it'll happily hit 130+if you've got a hill and nice strong tail wind

Might be because of the weight of the extra 2 doors. (By the way i'm not taking the p i s s.)

I've done 125mph and then backed off. I'm sure if it was pushed it would do 130mph or even 135mph.

tbh cars rarely top their book speed in reality nor are speedos accurate especially with different diameter and width rims, all about the ratio and the rolling radius

Yup agreed, i wasnt saying that the car will top the book speed, just saying that it may show considerably more than the book speed through speedo error.....for godsakes, i had a 1.4 8v to 118mph on the speedo!!! Something tells me it was out
