therefore..its not lsucking like a K+N as air is straight into it..
may need a re-map on your car aswell to get the max potential lol.
Arite yeh i know what you mean, i just wasnt familiar with the term. I would do that but it gets a bit messy with the piping that long. I'm just going to stick to using the technique presented in this DIY guide!

the lengthing piping from the instructions is plenty lol.
but shud still work as good.

Nope, not at all. You will use more tho i bet, cos you pump the pedal more to get that sound

If anything, it dampened the sound on mine as ive got 1.7m of piping on mine so its in the best possible place. My exhaust adds the sound back though!!

Pictures should be working. Theoretically you should be getting better MPG with a BMC

shouldnt it be less miles :S cus it gets more air to fuel mix?

Better air to fuel mixture means better combustion and therefore more efficient operation
