it looks like a pretty nice car tbh, but a couple of pointers.

firstly, they look like the standard 15" bbs, the gti never came with 16s as standard and they too small to be 16s in those pics.
secondly, if it has scratches in both doors and on the bonnet, i think it would cost a lot more than £400 to sort them out.
i may be wrong but it seems a little bit of a ploy to get the car sold?

ps- CC is better than A/C i think as u can set the exact temp with CC but with AC u get to set a rough temp. I'm not totally sure about this but someone should be able to fill in the spaces!

ok so check up on the alloys and how much do u think it could cost to have the scratches done?

are parkers book rpices generally a good indication to go by?

no idea on the scratches mate, never had any work done apart from a small dent taken out of my wing which cost £50 but u couldn't see where it had been!
i would have thought it would need to have the whole bonnet resprayed tbh but i'm far from an expert.
i know others on here have had work done so they will be able to give u more acurate imput.

and as for parkers, i don't think they give a fair representation of the gti prices. its a rareish car and only comes in 3 colours which makes it fairly desireable so people will generally ask and pay more for it. i would say that the average price would be about £5000.

be aware of the dudd tho, there was one on ebay a little while back and the seller had a bu it now price of £10k

there were no bids lol
