on the brakes situation, i was tied between 312s or just getting uprated discs and pads of the same size! i think Brembo do discs at fairly decent prices!

I very nearly bought a set of these wheels when I first had my car, but when I trial fitted one, I found this problem.

Still, they are bloody lovely :)
if they rub on the inside and you want 312mm just gets some 5mm spacers and longer wheel bolts
They don't rub on the face of the wheel... It's against the actual body of the wheel (ie the horizontal part).

i think i'd have to take a fair amount of the cliper off then as the little weighted blocks used to balance the wheel are right at the edge of the back of the face (if u see what i mean) and so would definately get in the way of the larger calipers!

Dan, what can I say? Your car looks fantastic! Shame I can't make it to the Spring Festival to see it in the metal but there is always Inters... Summer Festival... E38? 8)

hmmm have been thinking about that for a while but i think, for now, i'm gonna leave the side strips as they are, i think it breaks up all the grey and gives it contrast!

That is one tasty lookin' motor..... The wheels just set it off nicely. I agree with you and reckon the bump strips should stay black.....

If i'd gone for the Ibiza FR i was gonna get that same colour it's my personal favourite in the Seat colour range.

Cheers

Dave.
