No rear speakers? Forgot to mention ive also had the roof resprayed under warranty due to bird droppings. They said at first that its not covered then they changed there minds and put that it was brake fluid from the transporter. The fact it the paintwork is crap and things like this shouldnt happen on a new car.

Having spent time working with new cars. All I can say now is that you can no longer buy a car and expect nothing to go wrong with it. It's just no longer possible. Technology has progressed so far that things are bound to go wrongjrw wrote: The fact it the paintwork is crap and things like this shouldnt happen on a new car.
Don't think I'm having a go or anything. I tend to take it on the chin nowadays, as long as I don't pay for it I'm happy

Ref the dash rattle: From discussions with VW dealers/Skoda forums etc its RUMOURED to be one of these three air vents in the dash...

Apparently not enough padding or something. Either way i'm leaving mine, not going to let the dealer wreck my dash for the sake of a rattle
Can you open this part so any one can fix the squik?

The modified suspension bushes have been now produced along with some sort of special tool to fit them and are in Transit somewhere between Germany and the UK so they should be in the UK very soon .
This information came from my dealer and from 2 people I spoke to in VW customer Care .
Dont know if any of this is true but thought I would keep you guys up to date on what I have been told . We will see !!!!!!!!! .

My dealer has just received the new "Modified" bushes and upon looking at them closely they have chosen not to fit them as they are "Exactly the same as the ones on there already" and they are in the middle of contacting VW about this.
From what they have said, VW have produced "modified Suspension *arms*" to replace the existing suspension problems??

My VW dealer has the replacement bushes, and the tool, but is now waiting for special lubricant, on back order! I wonder if this is needed to fit the bushes or is it part of the "fix" and bushes will need re-lubricating from time to time.
