That's the thing, I've got a garage but my mate's car is in it!!!! Lol Afraid he's gotta find a new place for his polo cause mine will be living in there once i sort her.....

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread but........
Got a phone call this morning from the Gf saying that the
Insurance company had been in touch and had indeed
written off the car as a financial loss and had offered her
£750.She asked the guy about buying the car back to which
he replied "okay,how about £700 and your old car"....£50
for a 1996 Renault Clio 1.9D Versailles with only 65k on
the clock.The Gf is fully comp with protected no claims so
in theory her insurance shouldn't go up next year...........

I hate these idiots, what a lot of bother to do something like that. Off with their arms!

Sorry to read about this, It's horrible when someone damages your car, but even worse when you know it was done intentionally. Its a real shame that acts of vandalism like this are becoming more and more common.
Not seen too many cars paint stripped round my way but have seen far too many get keyed.

Including my mums GTI last week.....

this really makes me sick, if someone did this to my car id track them down and take them out one by one, (assuming it was a gang) and fill their screen wash with paint stripper (can this be done? can you open a bonnet from the outside? i'm thinking not to stop people like me doing things like that, but its the thaught that counts.)

i tell you what is a laugh, this dick at school thaught it would be funny to lob a pot of baked beans over my car, so, being graphic design students, me and my mate stuck in big vynl letters to the back of his car "IM A t**t, HOOT ME!" instead of just apologising, cleaning off the mess and asking us nicely to remove the lettering, he attempted to do it himself and scratched the paint work of his almost new mini cooper. and he'd caused all the damage himself!
