Fuel cap is a great idea. Mine is a little loose and doesn't fully close

Personally, I really think the wheels let the look of the car down. With the amount of money you are prepared to throw at the car, I am really surprised you are not interested in wider wheels.
I wouldn't exactly take it as far as letting the look of the car down!
Once tom arranges some wheel spacers to give the wheels a bit more stance then i think it'll give it the right look
Keep up the imagination and good work mate!!!

Cheers Andy, would be good to see some pics of it with the spacers on.
I think the BBS suit the car really well so I don't want to change them, plus I'm going for an OEM+ look. Show VW how it should have been done.

Looks spot on Tom! liking the filler cap smoothing! immensely subtle!
will look even better once the bbs are spaced out a bit!

as soon as my car is out of the shop ill send them to you. changes the look so much.
you are right to keep the BBS, i don't like any other wheels as much. OEM+ is the way forward!

looks so sweet!!!! i see a few of you have smoothed in colour coded splitters and bumper mouldings! i would love to do that to mine but i have no idea how to plastic weld! only steel weld! lol

Cheers for the comments again people.
I'm the only one with a smoothed in splitter though mate, the rest are just colour coded
There's only one guy on here who smoothed his own bumpers, the rest of us have taken it somewhere to get done (best way imo unless you're competent with body mods)

I love your car, looks mint. Agree on the spacers though. I'm real sorry, but i'm gonna copy your fuel cap, makes it look so much better!
