I remember now, I went past you when you were stopped in the white lines after you'd been hit. I was joining the A90 at around 5.30pm from the Aberdeen road, somehow I thought that Polo GTi looked familier to me!

Hope everything works out man.

Just trying to get my head round everything and sort out how to get it repaired today. Think the plan is to get is assessed then get all mechanical parts done, then sort out the bumper and stuff, take it to the bodyshop and get that done there.

My main concern is the gearbox there. Because the GTI ones are crap anyway, I just hope the impact hasn't damaged the gearbox inside. Don't want to get it fixed then hear the dreaded whining noise :(

Quite a lot. Still owe my parents about £500 after borrowing to pay for my insurance. :(

The car is getting taken to a garage on Monday. No idea how long it will be. Not a great start to my summer holiday and I can't do anything without my car

Got some better pics with a proper camera. What are the sensors circled in red? The one next to the gearbox is just hanging down!

Looking at the last pic I just hope only the end plate is damaged. My air con system might be f****d too as some of the pipes up front have holes in them. The car is getting towed today so wish me luck!

I feel your pain man! My cam belt pulley’s went when I was 300 miles from home.... so home on the train I go. (£310)

Pick the car up and driving it back to my girlfriends I end up going into the back of someone. (£330 parts)

And now I’m without a car for a week whilst its getting sprayed (£600)

And I just put 4 new tyres on (£160)

And I need new rear brakes......

When it goes wrong it all goes wrong at once!

Hope you get it all sorted mate! I feel for you!
