Hey guys, just bumping the thread...
I ordered new handles from VAG parts, turns out I only got the facing bits and I still need the rest of the handle. Used the search function and found this:
Main handle 6N0 867 180E 48Z £8.44 +vat
Which side is this as I need both sides? If so does anyone know part no.s for both as I'll pop down to VAG to order them today

180E is the driver's side handle Mouse. When you last updated your own progress thread I posted up a reply with the part numbers in at the bottom of this page

Narp! They are OEM and exactly the same as the handles that Mouse will be removing, but just brand new, so none of that nasty flaky plastic peeling off left right and centre.8080 wrote:Are the replacement handles more durable than the originals?
I guess it is down to the owner to try and keep them looking good by not scratching them - tough job!

did you find them on vagparts.com? I search for stuff on there all the time and its useless! just comes up with random parts. I just searched that part number you quoted and nothing remotely relative came upMouse_GTI wrote:Hey guys, just bumping the thread...

Because the part number is in sections (i.e. with spaces in between) you need to use the and feature when searching. If you search the VAGParts forum for "6N0 867 180E" you get waaaaay too many posts of no use. I just email them generally asking them what I need. I'm gonna find a way of "treating" the new handles to prevent them flaking again
