Mine's a 97P and its just comin up to 41k. think it was someone's second car before me...

mines done 126,000 and the gearbox has just gone. nothing else major gone. trying to find a new gearbox at the moment of any one knows the where abouts of one??

Ive got a 1997 polo, it had done very low 52000 when I got it, its now done 60000. Average is 10k a year so 97 would be like someone previously said 100k +
Can I also just point the ridiculous prices of vw golfs on auto trader. The popular milage being 100,000-120,000 and people still wanting £7000-£8000. Sorry but there a complete rip off. The car might do 200,000 miles but paying that money for something thats done that much is insane, its just not worth it. (nothing to do with this post I know:)
