I get this a lot,

I admit only once i got peed off on the A71 from edinburgh to livingston at about 1am on a sunday. There was nothing behind me when suddenly this black clio came hammering up behind me just before a small 30mph stretch, he was right up behind me, he was that close all i could see in the rear veiw was his windscreen. I thought what the heck i went from 4th to 2nd and i new as soon as i was out the 30mph he would try and over take. So he pulled out and i just floored it right into the red in 2nd ,3rd and 4th, Then i slipped it into 5th and he gave up. It was fantastic. I knew there was a set of lights coming up so i pulled into the lane to go right even although i was wanting to go straight as i knew he wanted another go at the lights. The driver barely looked 17 and he gave me the evil look and reving his engine. Just to give him the satisfaction a let him screech away and i just toddeled off i could just tell he was raging.

As for any other time if anyone hammers up behind me i give them a flash of the break lights if they dont get the jist i jus pull over and let them past. my licence means to much to me and 99% of the time i have the little one in the car.

Or is it just the case they see the uk-polos.net sticker in the tinted rear window and think im a boy racer ...... who knows

rant over lol

By the way just thought I'd add this isn't a thread to boast about racing if anyone got that impression

Someone in a diesel Seat Ibiza today annoyed me. Was right up my ass, even though we were stuck in a 40 with no where to go as there was so much traffic up ahead. I kept a 2 second gap between the car in front, so why couldn't he?

everyone wants to race me......most of the time i cant be bothered but every now and again you get a fool in a bmw 318 or something who needs to know the score!
never get any problems with people in golfs as they are too busy staring at my wheels!

I used to get people wanting a race every now and then, and like some of you, occasionally participated to show them they aint all that!!!

However, since i debadged the rear, don't get half as many arses wanting a little blast against me! They just see a VW badge and must either think, "oooo look, a small golf"....or...."just a polo, i'll easily beat that" Twats

a few blasts of the windscreen washers normally gets rids of tail-gaters for me. Especially with the headlight washers in full flow!

I've had loads recently.

Skoda Superb taxi, Honda Civic and a 1.6 Mk4 Golf all at the same set of traffic lights over the past week or so.

No idea why, must be something in the air.

I have....

The section of roadworks where I live is a 40. So I come up to the system and a 1.6 Astra is in the left lane. I'm sitting at 42/43 through the camera in 5th as the car can still pull this low so no point changing a gear. Astra man decides to floor it up the inside lane after the camera then cut in front of me. I was so pissed off so drove straight up his arse. Due to rush hour traffic though I never got a chance to overtake the bastard, as there is always some t**t sitting at 65 in the fast lane with a queue of traffic behind them

I get pretty angry when provoked in the car

I like to embarrass execs in their BMW's on motorways.
I drive like normal in the inside lane, which apparently isnt fast enough when you own a BMW, so I let them get alongside me then I drop a gear and floor it. I love the look on theyre faces when they look to the side and im still beside them with a big grin on my face.

Being from Ireland though, its mostly Jap scrap that insist on racing at every set of lights, I just drive and let nature take it's course, if it's some chav in his 1.4 Civic they usually have to floor it to overtake me, and just wind up looking stupid for having to do so much work whilst going so slowly!
