The car is looking great. Looks like the lowerage has hit the spot

Regarding car care, you're right with the sealant being last; the Wolfgang gear you have is meant to be very good and durable as well. Just a tip regarding the Bilt-hamber clay, you only need about a quarter of the whole bar when you're using it, and it's a good idea to keep it warm, by kneading it and having a bowl of warm water nearby. Also you don't need a dedicated lube for it, you just use a spray bottle with water in it.

If you adjust the other mirror you can just about see the brown and white wires so can see where they connect :D

cheers Ollie will keep that in mind when i come to clean the car, And thanks to everyone else for answering my questions so quickly

@Kipper - It works whenever it likes atm, will see what it is like after the bodyshop have taken the handle out. Any tips on fitting would be greatly appreciated though :)

Just been out adjusting the coilovers so the i get less scrubbing on the inside arch plastic, which has mostly already burnt away  has anyone taken the plastic lining out from inside the arch? the tire seems to hit where the bumper and arch plastic joins up with a screw.

Thanks, Haris

Just to let you know that the mk4 golf tweeter trim won't fit, I should know I brought a pair from VAG Parts :( it will leave a very noticeable gap between the doorcards

nope :( bodywork got pushed forward a week, because the bodyshop was overbooked. Dropped it off last wednesday morning, should have it back next wednesday/thursday hopefully. Don't worry there will be plenty of pictures up when i get it back :)

They are from clubpolo> Jackson tuning section from Phil J. They are evo coilovers from germany and come with a 2year warranty, seem to be good quality for the price.

Really liking the indent being filled, i think it looks well good, gives it that meaner look without taking too much of the oem-ness away

I hope he finishes it for edition 38 :? knowing my luck he'll finish it one day after edition 38 finishes

Thanks, Haris

yup unfortunately, he is taking the absolute p*** now, it's a complete joke. When i got a quote he told me it would take a week, then before giving the car to him i made sure, by asking him again that it would be done by next week. His excuse has been that he is working on it between other jobs, but he reckons he will have it done by saturday, he's had it for a whole month now  and if it's not done by monday i'm just going to drive off with it and get it done somewhere else

If he quoted a week then he should keep you waiting. if hes not got it done by saturday then make sure you get some money back!

well i haven't paid anything yet, and don't intend on doing so until the car is finished. And don't intend on paying at all if he don't have it done by monday or tuesday if i'm in a good mood.
