yeh the offical one does look better, but for the extra £22.50 i dont think it can be justified!!! plus with the halfords ones you get three, so if you want you experiment with paint!


for anyone wanting to do it its really easy,

There's a plastic cover on the wiperblade arm that pulls off and reveals a bolt, unscrew that.

open the boot, unscrew the two torxheads holding the plastic cover onto the tailgate, unclip it carefully.


the wiperblade cover is now exposed, its held on by three bolts, unscrew them,


the motor is now only held on by the wipefluid hose, pull that out (or cut it)

fold the hose back on itself, cable tie it, put blue tack in it, tape it, do whatever you've gotta do to stop anything coming out should you accidently press the button!!!

put the grommet in, and put some silicone sealant all around the edge of the inside to seal it and stop water getting in.

Job done

Just to add a little bit - pull it off from the top - there are very fragile clips on the bottom of the cover which will snap under any tension at all :( I found this out last time!!
