what you need on the 6n is a 4 wheel allignment not just tracking and toe in / out

i fitted springs and dampers to mine not realising this and ate a set of tyres i got quoted £80 for a 4 wheel set up yet had it done for £20

a new set of tyres cost £70 for the front so dont skimp on this and get it set it will also be the final tweak to your moded set up i am however considering these raceland coilies ! were they of ebay ? pretty good price ! ay

Does anyone know where i can get a 7mm allen key from as it's an unusual size and I don't think places like B&Q will sell it? Any ideas?

I got mine from ScrewFix in a set. Was about £12

1. nut
2. bush with bearing
3. top of old suspension? _ Is this required as i did not use any parts from my old suspension- just bought new bush and bearing // PLease help!!!

Yeh number 3 is needed from what I remember.

ive fitted it with just the rubber bush and the bearing directly on top of the blue thngy on top of the coilover- Hope this is ok! lol

my old suspension was taken by the scrap man! so too late to check it as well now!

hey guys im fine for the rears but the fronts im slighty cofused on which part i need to keep.

anyone else got any pics i can see?

I kept the bumpstops (foam bits) as I didn't use the ones on the new kit.

And the whole top mount (whole black rubber section at the top)

has anyone got any pics of the new collies with all the bits on that are needed?

Just did this myself, rears where p*** easy, front gave mebother, only because had to go to shop 3 times to buya 22mm spanner, 7mm hex tool and then a pair of 20mm spanners for the lower nuts. LOL!

Dead easy.

Fitted my coilovers and have come across a problem. The front two are not sitting properly inside the engine bay mounting plates. They are bottoming out. The top plate is already touching the underside rubber mount and wont sit properly. It sits about 10mm above. Has anyone had this problem. If they have what did they do to overcome this problem

Looking at fitting coilovers to my mates 6N at the end of the week.
From what I understand camber can be set up roughly with a spirit level as the holes are slotted. But what’s this about the toe needing adjustment surely this should remain unaffected?
