Look forward to seeing them. One concern that came to mind was whether or not to continue using the power washer after having parts sprayed?

well mine got power washed at the weekend i am into my detailing to so it really was just a rinse down at a safe distance to remove grit and dirt, then a foam up with foam gun and rinse again before the usual wash mit with two bucket, should be fine tho. just leaving 6 weeks before it gets a few coats of colinite for the winter
my advice never put a power washer closer than say 30cm to your paintwork.

Whats colinite exactly and what does that do? Some sort of paint protection for the winter? What else do you suggest for winter? Bit of anti freeze in the coolant tank?

um yea its heavy duty paste wax, i usually give the car 2 coats for the winter. If your interested in detailing check out
www.detailingworld.co.uk. Never really do anything engine wise, just a little of the vw screen wash in the tank to stop it freezing cause i think it is bad for the fan jet window washers but other than that should be fine, if u have a nice set of alloys get em off when the road salt starts and thats about it.
