I had my mk2 for 4months before i blw the gearbox
Mk4 has been 2months so far.

MKII Coupe S - 2 years
MKIV 1.4 8V - must be nearly 4 years
I joined up here after I bought it although I had been lurking but not registered for a year before that when I had the MKII

mk2 squareback = for 11 months after i passed (oct '00-sep '01)
mk5 1.0l E = 3.5 years (sep '01-mar '05)
seat leon 20vt = 2 months (mar '05- may '05)
mk4 ibiza tdi sport = 2.5 years and counting!
not planning on changing for a while, couple of years maybe?

purely because of the fuel mate, all i was doing was short journeys and town work so it was awful on fuel! i was soooo quick but i paid the price lol!

Had my polo 2 and 1/2 years. Plan on keeping for another 4 - 5 years. lol.

plus the tax is high and the insurance was higher than my previous polo! i found the ibiza and all is well, low tax, cheapish insurance, very good fuel economy, and fairly quick! what more could i need lol

1.2 Mk6 - 2 years 6months
Mk6 GT - 2 years 8 months and will be keeping it till it dies most likely but gaining another car at somepoint.

1.4TDI 9N3 for 2 years now. Thinking about getting a GTI, but the price, insurance and fuel costs are making it a tough decision.

i've had the polo now for 1year 9months and plan on keeping it for at least 3-5 years or until something serious goes wrong with it

I owned my 1.0l mk5 for 8 months but only had passed my test about 2 months....got written off by some dafty pulling out on me

Only had 6k on it
The one i have just now 1.4 8v, GTI what ever you wanna call it.....owned it now 2 years n a half years :O didnt realise i had it so long!
The new car....will have owned it 1 day as of next thurs
