How about a Boxster? I'd never ever call it a poor mans Porsche after driving it. Makes the new Golf GTI seem cheap

It does yeh, but if you had the money (and were buying a porsche obviously) you'd opt for the carrera!

Exactly.

I was looking at boxsters the other day. The price of buying them isn't too bad but the milage is high on the ones up to about 18-19k and the insurance for me would have been around £2500!!

Wouldnt think the GTI wold come close to the 330....but i have quite handsomly shown up some posh git in his new style 325d, he was abslutely gutted!

Not bad beating a 200bhp 0-60 in 7.4s 30k car 8) .......in a '1.4 8v' :wink:

I'm looking at the coupe. I have the mk1 cabby for the summer :)

Performance is excellant (0-60 6.3 secs, 155 limited). Insurance is cheap (680 fully comp for me). Fuel economy is pretty good as well.

Either that or a clk320 or a 325ti compact.

Just want a big engine and rwd!
