I think it's doing the rounds in the VW scene now. Although I could have been led up the garden path about JDM.....

1. Ibiza Cupra, Skoda Fabia VRS and new Polo GTi are the only ones which are a direct fit!
Ive got TT leathers in black in mine and will be getting the rears retrimmed to match :)

2. I wouldnt dewiper a 9n personally. The backside of a 9n seems to attract crap!

sorry to sound like a grumpy "dad" but remember if you remove the seats you may well be losing the side airbag too. If you have one.

just something to be cautious about, those airbags have saved many lives!

^ Not so!

With a bit of rewiring of the seats (well the connectors for the airbags) ive got my side airbags in the TT seats working as normal :)

I was meaning if he went for seats without airbags - or non VAG seats

however I'm interested to hear that the TT ones are compatible. although how do you know if they work?! :)

I was about to ask the same lol!

But then how do you know the standard ones do? I'd rather not find out tbh.

Ah well im going by the fact that the ecu hasnt picked up any faults/turned the airbag light on and disarmed the whole system

Took a bit of jiggery pokery and ordering of non-orderable parts from vag but they work :)

Was hilarious ordering the bits though. The guy at the parts dept said,
"Why the f..k would you want to put TT seats in a polo" to which i replied,
"Why not :P "

"to be different"

some people just can't fathom it out! :)

I'm on the lookout for Ibiza Cupra ones....

After Pidge87 giving me all my information on the Coilies from Clubpolo (is that a swear word on here) i don't think you'll manage and 80mm drop on any coilover set up after experiencing it for myself! Pidge has probably got the biggest drop you will get on a 9N. Just saying this because i heard a mention of 15"ers? Maybe you might need another inch or so on them? Anyway keep us posted!
