yeah but mouse, i have some 8k hid's i was just wanting to change them onto the gti (as the 8k are obviously brighter then the normal gti xenons)

Ohhhh ok I get you,
Yeh you should have no problem putting the 8k bulbs in the GTi,
I've heard of problems where 6k bulbs won't boot straight up with the OEM ballasts, but I think that was down to cheap bulbs.
I've also heard though that projector lamps make the tint of a bulb alot bluer, so 8k maybe a little extreme!!!
Will be interesting to see how it goes though

6000K bulbs light up fine with the standard ballasts Tim, or at least mine do anyway

Ah crap yeh totally forgot about the different bulbs!!! Nice one Tom
Yeh Bepe they won't work with the original ballasts, you'd have to remove them and put your entire 8k HID kit in, I dont think thats an easy task either.
How are the 6Ks Tom? I havn't gotten round to buying any yet

No pics at the mo but I'll get some at some point.
The 6000's light up road signs a lot further away than the OEM bulbs.
Tim, they're real good yeah. Worth buying.
