I was under the impression the original finish was polished.
Mine have definitely been refurbed.

I have not seen any 9N`s where I live running TT`s lots of RS4, RS8. So dont want to follow the rest and went for the TT`s, now cant find any anywhere even Ebay only has one alloy but I am sure some will turn up sooner or later. (Would be running a set if it was not for a stuck up bloke thinkin his wifes T reg tt was so special the prick (Sorry)) anyway got more problems with the car so should sort those out first.

I put TT Comp's on my 9n almost 2 years ago, apart from at a show with these people there, I havent seen any on a 9n and I do 20k a year around London and Reading.
Originality vs Looks. Looks first but originallity is not comprimised with decent after markets. Original were some trims...
Anyway, lowered 40mm (London bumps) with 205/45 are fine, slight rub with my Mich F1's but nothing on my Falkens that I had before.
As for the finish, no idea, when I clean them, they shine hence they are mostly dull...

Tell me about it i'd do anything to sport a set of comps, but after reading this thread it has put me off even more, i think i'll stick with my wheels at least i know there can't be too many people with the same wheels as mine on a 9N!
