You can either mask up your current grill and paint it.

Or go to halfords and purchase 'red line' pinstripe tape and put it on your current grill.

Mines tape.

Nice one, can I ask why you decided not to colour code the splitter, makes it look even better.

Would ruin the car i think, splitter hits the ground here and there - and one stonechip would look a mess i think. Im happy with it being tyre shinned every few days 8)

Yeah, i just ordered a new front plate but got it shorter so that should help out the front as well - as i dont want to run about with no front plate.

Whats peoples thoughts on a slated debadged grill or the honeycombe one? or leave it be ?

Looking sweet mate! welcome to the club, there's very few black smoothed GTis on here (that I know about?).

I considered the splitter, but didn't go ahead with it for the same reasons as you.

I say keep the grill as it is also

honeycomb grill (just incase you haven't seen it on a black polo?)

you can also use then OEM grill and badge combo after if it all goes wrong

Decided to keep with the GTI grill and the badge black on the front.

Its booked in for the the 30th for more bodywork on it - mainly the boot smoothed and the side repeaters gone and the petrol cap flush. Then it will go back in summer for other bits i decided on being smoothed... its currently sitting like this the now - never seen the plate here on any polos but i realllly like it...

Looking fab mate!!!

Have you got a boot solenoid sorted yet? Personally I think it'll look better with the VW badge still there,

Have you got the door trims done too? Can't quite see
